1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the qpTV Android application (“the App”), developed and maintained by Sudareq (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Please also review our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle information in connection with the App.
2. Description of Service
qpTV is a media player application that allows you to watch live TV, movies, and series on Android phones, tablets, and Android TV devices.
Important: qpTV is a player only. The App does not provide, host, store, or curate any streaming content. You must supply your own content sources (M3U playlists or Xtream Codes credentials) from your own IPTV service provider.
Key features of the App include:
- Playback of live TV channels, movies, and series from user-provided sources
- Electronic Program Guide (EPG) support
- Up to 4 user profiles with isolated data
- Watch history, favorites, and custom playlists
- Parental controls (PIN protection and daily watch time limits)
- Chromecast support (mobile devices)
- Backup and restore of app data
- Split view and scheduled playback
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you should use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements.
4. User Responsibilities
By using the App, you agree to the following:
4.1 Content Legality
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content sources (M3U playlists, Xtream Codes servers) you use with the App are legally obtained and that you have the legal right to access them.
- You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the content you access through the App.
- You must not use the App to access copyrighted content without proper authorization from the rights holder.
4.2 Credential Security
- You are responsible for keeping your IPTV provider credentials (server URLs, usernames, and passwords) secure.
- You are responsible for the security of any backup files you create through the App’s export feature, as these files may contain your IPTV credentials.
4.3 Acceptable Use
- You must use the App in a lawful manner and in accordance with these Terms.
- You must not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App or interfere with any other party’s use of the App.
5. Content Disclaimer
qpTV does not provide, host, store, stream, curate, or control any media content. The App is solely a media player that processes content from sources you configure.
- We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, legality, accuracy, quality, or availability of any streams or media accessed through the App.
- We do not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for any content provided by third-party IPTV services or accessible through user-provided playlists.
- We are not affiliated with any IPTV content provider.
- Any issues related to the content you access (including quality, availability, or legality) are between you and your IPTV service provider.
You acknowledge and agree that you bear full responsibility for the content you choose to access through the App.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
6.1 Free Trial
The App offers a 3-day free trial period for new users. During the trial, you have access to all App features. No payment is required during the trial period.
6.2 Subscription Plans
After the trial period, continued access to premium features requires a subscription to qpTV Unlimited. The following plans are available:
- Yearly Subscription: Automatically renews annually unless cancelled.
- Lifetime Purchase: A one-time purchase that grants permanent access to all premium features.
6.3 Billing and Payment
- All payments are processed through the Google Play Store. We do not directly handle your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.).
- Subscription prices are displayed in the App and in the Google Play Store before purchase.
- Yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the start of each billing period. You may be charged up to 24 hours before the start of the next billing period.
6.4 Cancellation
- You may cancel your yearly subscription at any time through the Google Play Store (Google Play Store > Subscriptions > qpTV).
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- You will not receive a refund for the remaining portion of the current billing period.
6.5 Price Changes
- We reserve the right to change subscription prices. If the price of a yearly subscription increases, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance. The new price will apply to the first renewal after the notice period.
6.6 Refunds
- Refund requests are handled through the Google Play Store in accordance with Google Play’s refund policy.
- Lifetime purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Intellectual Property
The App, including its name “qpTV”, logo, design, code, user interface, and documentation, is the property of Sudareq and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7.2 Your License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on your personal Android devices for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
7.3 Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the App.
- Use the App’s name, logo, or branding for any purpose without our prior written consent.
7.4 Open-Source Components
The App uses certain open-source libraries (including VLC, ExoPlayer, and other Android libraries) that are subject to their own license terms. Nothing in these Terms restricts any rights you may have under those open-source licenses.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the App to access or distribute content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
- Redistribute, sublicense, or make the App available to third parties in any unauthorized way.
- Attempt to circumvent any security features, access controls, or technical limitations of the App.
- Use the App for any commercial purpose (such as publicly screening content) without our written consent.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to interact with the App.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and policies:
- Google Play Store – For app distribution, payments, and subscription management. Subject to Google Play Terms of Service.
- RevenueCat – For subscription management. Subject to RevenueCat Terms of Service.
- Firebase (Google) – For anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting. Subject to Google Terms of Service.
- Google Cast SDK – For Chromecast functionality. Subject to Google Terms of Service.
- Your IPTV Service Provider – For streaming content. Subject to your provider’s own terms of service.
We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Fitness for a particular purpose: We do not guarantee that the App will be compatible with all streaming sources, formats, codecs, or devices.
- Uninterrupted service: We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or free from errors or interruptions.
- Stream quality: We do not guarantee the quality, reliability, or availability of any streams accessed through the App, as these depend entirely on your IPTV provider and network connection.
- Content accuracy: We do not guarantee the accuracy of EPG data or any other metadata provided by third-party sources.
This disclaimer does not affect any statutory rights that cannot be waived or limited under applicable law, including EU consumer protection laws.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of use, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
- We shall not be liable for any damages arising from:
- The content, legality, or availability of streams from your IPTV provider.
- Loss of locally stored data (profiles, playlists, watch history, settings) due to device failure, app uninstallation, or other causes.
- Interruptions, errors, or defects in the App.
- Actions or omissions of third-party services (Google Play, RevenueCat, Firebase, your IPTV provider).
- Unauthorized access to your device or backup files.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us through the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, or EUR 50, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12. Parental Controls
The App includes optional parental control features (PIN protection for profiles and daily watch time limits). These features are provided as a convenience for families and operate entirely on your device.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for configuring and managing parental controls.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their children’s use of the App and the content they access.
- We are not responsible for the content your children may access through the App.
- The parental control features do not guarantee that children will be prevented from accessing inappropriate content.
13. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.
Key points:
- Most data is stored locally on your device only.
- We do not operate servers that store your personal data.
- Anonymous analytics (Firebase) and subscription data (RevenueCat) are processed by third-party services.
- You can export your data using the App’s backup feature and delete it by removing profiles or uninstalling the App.
14. Termination
14.1 By You
You may stop using the App at any time. You can uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data from your device. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately through the Google Play Store to avoid further charges.
14.2 By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if:
- You violate these Terms.
- You use the App for illegal purposes.
- Continued access would expose us to legal liability.
In the event of termination, your license to use the App will cease immediately. Any subscriptions must be cancelled separately through the Google Play Store.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:
- We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
- For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, through a notice in the App).
- Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
- If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the App.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws of the member state in which you reside.
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area (EEA), you benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence that cannot be overridden by these Terms.
For any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the App:
- We encourage you to contact us first at qptv@sudareq.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.
- If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the competent courts in your country of residence (if you are a consumer in the EEA) or the courts of the Netherlands.
- EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sudareq regarding your use of the App. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
